Non-Infectious Clinical Waste
Offensive Waste or Tiger Bag Waste (EWC 18-01-04) is defined in the Controlled Waste Regulations 2012 as being waste which is unpleasant and may cause offence to the senses.
Offensive waste is non-infectious, but only a few specific waste types are suitable to be placed into a tiger bag or offensive waste sack.
Offensive Waste can consist of:
- Nappy and incontinence waste
- Protective garments and outer dressings that are not contaminated with bodily fluids. e.g. gloves, gowns and masks.
We offer two types of bin the 60 ltr for internal use and a 770ltr (pictured).
The 770ltr bins are emptied on a pre-determined basis and will usually hold around 20 3/4 full bags.
